There is a TEDTalk about these four guys who made a commitment to not only complete their own bucket list, but also assist complete strangers along the way to achieve their own bucket list items. And it got them on TED so clearly there is something to creating a bucketlist that works.
This got me working on my own bucket list over the weekend. I have largely started this year without any goals or plans to speak of. And it has turned out to be a disaster of a plan for the year so far. And now serendipity is just playing games. To make a long story short, I have been attempting to get into a trail run called The Otter trail run in South-Africa for the last 4 years now. It is nearly impossible to get an entry, as the previous participant are given preference to enter before the remaining entries are released to the public. For some reason just after completing my bucketlist, an invite to enter the race popped into my inbox. Finally, there is a story to look forward to for the next few months.

Hopefully the grim reaper is having his hands full with all the wars in the world at the moment to notice...
What's on your bucketlist at this moment?
